"It was a bit too close for comfort at the end, I was up 10/6 match
ball, I tinned, then he got a stroke, then another error, and
finally...
This was a really good event for me, everybody has been really nice,
and I hope I'll be back playing in France soon.
Of course, I would like to congratulate Julien, I knew he was bound
to be tired, so I stepped up the pace. But it was always very close,
like 4/4, 5/5, and then, I was able to win three long rallies in a
row.
I really enjoyed this event, I would like to thank the sponsors,
without you, we couldn't do our jobs, and Olivier and his team, they
just did a great job. And I would like to say how grateful I
was to my dad who came with me, it's nice to have somebody round who
knows you very well and who could coach me.

Il a très bien joué. Il a joué trop vite par rapport à ce que
j'étais capable de faire aujourd'hui, et il a fait un gros match.
Je n'ai pas réussi à l'enfermer suffisamment, et il était plus fort
aujourd'hui.
Je suis content, c'est mon premier tournoi de l'année, que j'ai
passé une fin d'année difficile, et en passant, petit clin d'oeil à
la famille Droesbeke pour leur soutien.

JULIEN? WELL DONE...
 As
he came on court, we had the feeling that this was the day
Nicholas would have his revenge against the Frenchman. Well, no
need to be a specialist to add time on court. Julien, 1st round,
86mn, quarter, 85, and semi, 73. Nikki, 35, 33, 45.
So, we had the - Julien, cooked "well done" - in front of a
fiery up for it Nikki, fresh and all. Not only up for it, but in
full confidence, coached by his father, and in a very
interesting phase of his career, where everything he always
worked on is coming together.
Making two unforced errors throughout the match, our favourite
Swiss was imperial on court today. The pace, well, was just too
fast for Julien today, but I'm sure the Frenchman will be happy
to get the record straight next time they play...
But what a record for Nikki. I may be wrong, but it's 7 PSA
finals, and 7 victories...
LE MOT D'ANDRÉ...
 MUELLER
entame comme à son habitude, tentant amortie sur amortie à la
moindre ouverture, et Julien se retrouve rapidement mené 3/0.
Pour contrer l’offensive du Suisse, Julien essaye de le
repousser au fond sur son revers.
Mais MUELLER reste très dangereux en attaque notamment en fond
de court, d’où tous ces amortis rentrent, une bonne partie sont
gagnants, les autres mettent Julien en crise et souvent le
Suisse conclut sur la frappe suivante.
Julien connaît la stratégie en employer, mais le Suisse fait le
match parfait, très peu de mauvais choix, et 2 fautes directes
de tout le match. Du coup, c’est Julien qui est le plus souvent
sous pression, et en attaque il est juste un peu moins tranchant
que son adversaire. Ses amortis sont un peu trop haut, il laisse
le temps au Suisse de contre-attaquer.
Dans le troisième jeu, Julien sauve 3 balles de match mais au
prix d’énormes efforts physiques.
Le Suisse était trop fort aujourd’hui, et Julien aurait eu
besoin de plus de physique pour aller le chercher, les 2
derniers 5 jeux ont laissé des traces.
